Therefore, ineffective or bad communication from the clinician can negatively influence the clinical outcome. Further, ineffective communication increases the host problems and can even put the life of the patient in danger. These are some of the reasons as to why clinicians should adopt and sharpen their communication skills to improve the nature of health care they provide their patients (Chapman 2016).
